Create an RSVP: Video Walkthrough

This short video shows how to make a class event RSVP in SignUpSnap. It sets up an RSVP for a winter concert, so each family can tell you how many people are coming.

How to Create an RSVP

  1. Select New Form, then RSVP.

  2. Type a Title, like Winter Concert. Families see it when they open the link.

  3. In the Event card, pick the Date and set the Start Time and End Time.

  4. Type a Location, like School Gym. It's optional.

  5. Set Spots to the most people who can come. Once every spot is taken, the RSVP shows as full.

  6. Choose a Child Name Format: a first name, a first name and last initial, or a full name.

  7. Leave Reminders on, and each family gets an email the day before the event.

  8. Select Publish. Email the form to a class list from the Invite Lists card, or select Share and copy the link. The QR Code tab gives you a code for a flyer.

What Parents See

Parents open the link, enter how many people are coming, add their name and email, then select RSVP. They don't need an account.

See Who's Coming

Open the RSVP from Forms. The top shows the total, like 14 of 80 attending. Each response lists the head count, the child, the parent and their email, and the Reminder column shows when each reminder goes out.

Select Send Group Email to write to every family at once. Print and Export CSV are in the menu.

To keep RSVPs open after the event starts, read Create an RSVP in the Help Center. The video is also on the SignUpSnap YouTube channel.
