Terms of Service
Effective October 21, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Positor Group LLC, doing business as SignUpSnap ("SignUpSnap", "we", "us"). They govern your use of signupsnap.com, app.signupsnap.com and every SignUpSnap form (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You may accept these Terms for a school only if you have authority to bind that school. In that case, "you" includes the school.
The Service
SignUpSnap lets teachers create sign up forms, such as parent-teacher conference schedules, volunteer and supply sign ups, and event RSVPs. Parents and guardians book or respond through a link. The Service can send emails, add events to calendars, create meeting links and translate forms.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.
- The Service is not for children. Students may not use it.
- Teachers need an account. Parents do not.
Accounts
Keep sign-in details secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Tell us at support@signupsnap.com right away if you believe someone else has accessed it.
Plans and Billing
- Free costs $0 and has no time limit. A Free account can keep 1 form active at a time.
- Teacher Pro costs $4.99 a month or $49 a year, billed in advance through Stripe.
- Teacher Pro renews automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time in billing settings. Access continues to the end of the paid period.
- An account that returns to Free keeps 1 form active. We pause the rest, and you can reactivate them later.
- Fees do not include taxes. You pay any taxes that apply, other than taxes on our income.
- Payments are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
- We will email you at least 30 days before a price change applies to an existing subscription.
No Ads
The Service shows no ads on any plan. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Your Content
- Teachers own the forms they create. Parents own the information they enter.
- You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, translate and send that content, only to provide the Service.
- The teacher who created a form controls the responses to it.
- For a school, we act as a "school official" under the school's direct control for FERPA purposes. We use school data only to provide the Service and do not re-disclose it except as the Privacy Policy describes.
- A school or district on the School or District plan can request a signed data privacy agreement. That agreement controls over these Terms where the two conflict.
The Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information.
Our Service
We own the Service, including its software, design and the SignUpSnap name and logo. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You may send us feedback. We may use it without any obligation to you.
Teacher Responsibilities
- Collect only the information a form needs.
- Follow school and district policies on sharing information with families.
- Do not upload student rosters or school records.
- Set a data retention period that meets school policy.
Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Send spam or messages people did not ask for.
- Collect sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, health records or payment card numbers.
- Break the law or violate anyone's rights.
- Harass, threaten or mislead anyone.
- Upload malware, or try to break, overload or bypass the security of the Service.
- Scrape, copy or resell the Service.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
Connected Services
Google, Microsoft and Zoom connections are optional. Their own terms govern their services. We are not responsible for their outages or changes.
Ending Use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms. We will give notice where we reasonably can. After an account closes, we delete its data as the Privacy Policy describes. The sections on Your Content, Our Service, Disclaimers, Limit of Liability, Indemnity, Governing Law and General survive.
Changes
We may change the Service or these Terms. We will email teachers and post the new Terms here at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always be available or error-free, or that every email, reminder or calendar event will arrive. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limit of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $50.
Indemnity
You will cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, from any third-party claim that arises from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service, to the extent the law allows. This section does not apply to a public school or its employees where the law prohibits it.
Governing Law
The laws of the State of New York govern these Terms, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in the State of New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Where the law requires a public school or government agency to use the law or courts of its own state, that requirement applies instead.
General
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any signed data privacy agreement are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.
- You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them to a buyer or successor of SignUpSnap.
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- We send notices by email to the address on the account or by posting them in the Service. Send notices to us at support@signupsnap.com.
